I am currently an assistant teaching professor in the Math Department at CU Boulder. I received my PhD in 2019 from University of Cincinnati, under the supervision of Nageswari Shanmugalingam. My graduate research dealt with quasiconformal maps on metric spaces and characterizing these maps by how they act on surfaces.
I am very passionate about teaching and incorporating active learning in the classroom. I have experience with designing active learning materials and using techniques like the flipped classroom modality. I am also currently serving on the leadership team of the Special Interest Group of the MAA on Inquiry-Based Learning (SIGMAA IBL). If you're interested in IBL, check out our remote speaker series every fall and spring.
At CU, I organize the undergraduate Math Club and the Seminar on Undergraduate Math Education (SUME).
